It all starts here

The Funky journey began in 2006, renting classrooms from Halton Borough Council, at one of the local primary schools.

Bigger is better

2009 meant we could expand to an even bigger and better premises at Bancroft Road, opposite the brilliant Crow Wood Park. It's our new home!

Hi, we're Funky Monkey's Kids Club

We offer breakfast, After-school and Holiday Club provision. Our aim is to provide flexible and affordable childcare for our parents and their children. We operate a home from home experience, as we are not an educational setting, but a fun, relaxing and safe place where your child can play with friends, paint, build, exercise or just sit and read a book in our quiet room.

We offer an Out-Of-School service mainly for Moorfield Primary school. But remember that our Holiday club is open to everybody... Except for grown ups.

Play Assistant

Our qualified staff have many years experience in childcare, and continually develop their skills through on-going training. This helps us to keep up-to-date with current legislation and all OFSTED requirements.

As an OFSTED registered provision for 3-11 year olds, all staff have Enhanced DBS clearance..

We also require all staff to be qualified in Peadiatric First Aid. (Not an OFSTED Requirement).

We make sure that all current childcare ratios are adhered to and that children are provided with enough space and resources to have a fun and safe time with us.
