Welcome to Funky Monkey's Kids Club. We offer Breakfast, After-School and Government Funded Holiday Club provision. Our main is to provide flexible and affordable Childcare to support our parents and their children. We operate a home from home experience, as we are not an educational setting, but a fun, relaxing and safe place where your child can play with friends, paint, build, exercise or just sit and read a book.

 

We are a well established and experienced provision. Our highly qualified staff have many years experience, and continually develop their skills through on-going training. As an OFSTED registered provision, all staff have Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau clearance. We make sure that childcare ratios are adhered to, and that children are provided with enough space and resources to have a fun and safe time with us.

 

Parents are kept well informed of all our news, through newsletters and our facebook site, and are encouraged to chat to us about any concerns or suggestions. We have great relationships with our local school and are Registered with Halton borough Council's Children's Information Services. We attend regular Out-Of-School Club network meetings with Halton Council and other local clubs.

We produce termly and weekly activity plans based on topics often chosen by our children. We incorporate the needs of all our children whatever their abilities, and are experienced in many areas of special needs.

 

We have a large selection of toys and games which the children can select from our 'You Choose' book. We love having parties with our disco lights and karaoke, and we are lucky to have a newly refurbished park opposite our club where we love to go to play and exercise. We also have a Funky play yard with outdoor play equipment.

 

We have a suggestion board for the children to pass on their thoughts and ideas.

We hold regular Kids Council meetings and have representatives from all years.

Our Star of the Day, encourages the children to be helpful and kind to others. Children are encouraged to behave in a positive way towards each other and the adults in their lives.

 

We promote good health, by providing health snacks and practising good hygiene routines. We are inspected annually be Environmental Health, and also fire safety procedures and electrical inspections are carried out in line with legislation.
